Control Room Officer

Job Description:

The Control Room Officer is responsible for the monitoring of security systems and the response to any alarms in a timely and efficient manner. The Control Room Officer will be required to assess and respond to any security breaches or incidents that occur on the premises. This role involves working shifts and being available to respond to alarms, incidents and security requests.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a control room environment or similar role

• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance monitoring

• Experience in the security industry

• Ability to respond to incidents and alarms in a timely and efficient manner

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Security industry certification, such as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Security Guard License (SGL)

• First Aid/CPR certification

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
