Investigator

Job Summary:

The Investigator is responsible for conducting investigations into allegations of fraud, misconduct and other violations of company policies and procedures. The Investigator will review and analyze data, documents, and other evidence to identify any irregularities or suspicious activity, and will make recommendations based on their findings.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop and execute investigations plans and strategies

·         Collect, analyze and review evidence

·         Interview witnesses and suspects

·         Prepare detailed reports of findings and present them to management

·         Develop and maintain relationships with external law enforcement agencies

·         Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures

·         Stay abreast of laws and regulations pertaining to investigations

Experience:

·         5+ years of experience conducting investigations in a corporate environment

·         Knowledge of legal principles and practices related to investigations

·         Ability to analyze complex data and draw conclusions

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field

·         Professional certification in investigations or related field

·         Strong investigative and problem-solving skills

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team
